AAPEX runs November 3–5, 2026 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.

What it is

AAPEX is the trade show for the automotive aftermarket — the parts, tools, chemicals and service equipment that keep vehicles running after they have left the dealership.

The show is co-owned by the Auto Care Association and MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, the two bodies that between them represent much of the industry's supply chain. That ownership shapes the floor: the audience is distributors, program groups, retailers and the repair shops that buy from them.

Joe's Garage

The most unusual part of the show is a working workshop on the floor.

Joe's Garage is ten service bays with working lifts, where vehicles — including running electric vehicles — are serviced live. The organiser describes it as a real-world shop setup rather than a display: equipment is demonstrated in use, and training runs alongside it.

It is aimed squarely at the service side — technicians, shop owners and front-counter staff — rather than at buyers, and it is the clearest reason for a working technician to attend rather than send a purchasing colleague.

How the floor is organised

AAPEX groups exhibitors into fifteen named sections, which is worth reading before you plan a route:

Training

AAPEX runs hands-on technical sessions that are eligible toward ASE certification, alongside business management seminars and general sessions.

Seminars are added through your registration account rather than booked separately. The organiser does not state on its schedule page whether they carry a cost beyond registration, so check when booking rather than assuming.

One planning note

AAPEX is at The Venetian Expo, not the Las Vegas Convention Center. Las Vegas is busy in early November, so accommodation is worth booking earlier than the show alone would suggest.
