IFA Advocacy Summit 2026

The International Franchise Association's Advocacy Summit runs 14–16 September 2026 in Washington, DC, with sessions at Union Station's East Hall and the Marriott at Metro Center.

Formerly the IFA Leadership Summit & Franchise Action Network Annual Meeting

If you knew this event under its older name, it is the same annual gathering: IFA's grassroots advocacy event, where franchisors and franchisees travel to Washington for policy briefings that culminate in a coordinated fly-in on Capitol Hill. The Franchise Action Network continues as IFA's ongoing advocacy membership programme, but the standalone annual meeting now runs under the Advocacy Summit name.

The agenda is policy, not operations: labour and joint-employer rules, tax treatment, regulation affecting the franchise model, and direct meetings with members of Congress.
