World Architecture Festival 2026
The World Architecture Festival runs 18–20 November 2026 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida — the festival's second consecutive US year, at a new host city.
WAF is architecture's biggest live-judged awards programme: shortlisted practices present their buildings in person to international judging panels, in front of an audience, across dozens of categories — culminating in the World Building of the Year. That live-crit format is what separates it from every other architecture award, and it makes the festival floor feel like the world's largest design review.
Alongside the awards run a conference programme and an exhibition drawing practices from over 50 countries.
