The Experience Convention & Trade Show 2025

The Experience is BNP Media's event brand for the cleaning and restoration industry, presented by Restoration & Remediation (R&R) magazine. The fall Experience Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas combines keynotes, hands-on workshops and a supplier trade show floor; the spring conference, now presented as the R&R Technical Conference, moved from Punta Gorda to Clearwater, Florida, and offers what the organiser calls 'Science-Driven Education for Restoration Professionals'.

The EXPERIENCE ran April 8–10, 2025 at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center in Punta Gorda, Florida. It is organised by BNP Media for the cleaning, restoration and remediation trades.

What makes it different

Most events in this industry teach from a lectern. The EXPERIENCE is built around live demonstration and teaching stages, where techniques are shown on real materials rather than described on slides.

That covers water and fire damage restoration, mould remediation, contents cleaning, and the equipment each depends on — drying systems, air movers, meters and containment.

Who it is for

Restoration contractors and technicians, carpet and contents cleaners, and the mitigation crews who get called out after a flood or a fire. Suppliers and equipment manufacturers exhibit alongside.

A note on the name

This show is often confused with PHCC CONNECT, the plumbing and HVAC contractors' convention. They are unrelated: different industry, different organiser, different audience. ConventionGrid previously filed this event under that series in error; it now sits with the show it belongs to.

A hands-on event rather than a lecture programme — the demonstration stages are the point.
